ABOUT TOM WOLFE
Tom began his musical journey at the age of 6, when he first sat down at a piano and bashed a few keys. After learning a range of instruments during his childhood and teens (piano, violin, bass guitar and guitar to be precise), Tom finally discovered synthesizers as an early adult. Whilst learning the art of Music Production at college, and later university, he began composing music using synthesizers exclusively, experimenting with how to compose different styles of music traditionally played with acoustic instruments.
After spending a number of years working with some big names in the music production world, Tom got his first taste of film composition in 2016 when he was approached to score Spencer Hawken's horror-comedy feature Death Walks. This score, heavily influenced by 80s B-movie synth-horror such as John Carpenter and Fabio Frizzi, quickly garnered praise. Tom was awarded Best Music at British Horror Film Festival 2016, presented at the infamous Empire Leicester Square cinema.
Since scoring Death Walks, Tom has gone on to compose and produce music for a number of short and feature films. As a self-confessed work-a-holic, he prides himself on going the extra mile for his clients in order to ensure they are getting the best possible score for their film.
