Data & Purchases
I take data privacy seriously, and data held about my site users is used only to fulfil orders, maintain aftercare and support regarding your orders, for the purpose of informing you about new sound sets, providing targeted advertising, and other offers relating to my work that you may be interested in.
Â
I only store minimal data about my customers and newsletter members – name, email address, country where you’re based, and which products you have purchased. This data is collected under the legal basis of legitimate interest, and is used in order to maintain a mailing list where permission is given, and to provide you with any further assistance relating to the products which you own, including confirming your ownership of particular products. This data is stored indefinitely in order to continue providing support for products you purchase. You can, however, opt out and request your data be removed, as outlined in the Opt-Out section below. Information regarding the collection of personal data by third parties for the purposes of analytics and advertising can be found in the Third Parties section below. I do not share any data with anyone, with the exception of the third parties outlined in this policy.

Comments & Reviews
Â
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Â
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here:
https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Â
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.Â
Â
User Accounts
Â
Purchasing a product on the store requires the creation of a user account. These accounts are used for the purpose of allowing access to downloadable products. Any information you provide when creating an account is stored indefinitely for the purposes of maintaining product support, as outlined in the Data & Purchases section. You may also choose to store payment information with your account to make purchasing further products easier. This information is collected by Stripe and is safely encrypted. You can find more information about Stripe in the Third Parties section below. I do not have access to any payment information stored with Stripe.
Â
When creating an account, you will be required to set up a password. This password is encrypted, and I do not have access to it.
Â
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Â
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
